Always a great place for grocery shopping. The self checkout line are stubborn, but you just have to take your time to scan everything and be sure not to touch the bag station after scanning, it will lock up and you will have to call for help to proceed. They do offer lanes where their employees check you out

Dear shoppers unless you are ok with cross contaminated food I would highly recommend self checkout because these baggers are ok with throwing meat in with cans or bread or anything no that's how you get food poisoning

Twice now in the past 2 weeks. Go to Kroger in Mt Sterling and buy food. Only to get home and find that it is spoiled in one way or another. Latest was this evening. Bought Amish macaroni salad prepackaged. Dated, sell by 08/10. Opened it up, stuck a fork in it, swoop! Straight in the kisser! Holy Macaroni it was soured mayo! What a FANTASTIC taste! Thanks KROGER! If I had not brought this home, I would never know what that taste was like.

Kroger definitely has higher prices, but lately you can't tell much of a difference. Their products are better, produce is great, just an amazing selection.

Don't ever apply here for a job even if you're desperate!! I worked here twice and the most recent will be my last..The managers here won't tell you you're doing something wrong until they decide to fire you for it and will also will make up stories and throw around baseless accusations to get you in trouble!! A lot of unprofessionalism swims around this establishment you're better off working at a gas station!! This store needs a complete overhaul of their management team

I just wanna say there are two employees you guys have that go above and beyond everytime I come in one is the young man up front Thomas just super polite and helpful I see him busy runny doing something taking care of someone everytime I'm there thanks Thomas the other is a women I see all the time on cashier Theresa always polite my kids love her she gets so excited to see us these people deserve a raise keep them on your team they make a wonderful environment for your customers

Always find a good deal at my Kroger. It's nice that they actually mark items down and try to sell them instead of just throwing them in the landfill like Walmart does. Also they have courteous employees at the registers unlike most stores that have mostly self checkout. One bad thing is I've over heard management scold and be hateful to it's employees. It left a bad taste in my mouth one day a lady was not only fussing at an employee right in the middle of the store but also being very belittling. He appeared to be working very hard stocking product and she was complaining about the floors. This is why they might have trouble keeping and getting new employees. nemployees.
